Aviary... WOW!
I'm sure many of you have already seen Aviary. But for anyone who hasn't, it's a must-see RIA. Aviary is an amazing set of creative tools built with Adobe Flex.
My favorite tool is "Peacock", which Aviary calls a "Visual Laboratory". It has a rather unique approach to generating images. You are given access to a plethora of "nodes" that you connect with pipes to generate a final image. Nodes can do anything from, generating a fractal pattern, to applying special effects. Aviary also has an impressive image editor (photoshop-like) and they recently released a vector editor. The suite is a really nice example of what can be done on the Flash plaform.
